The theme is: "Shaping Our Profession — Demonstrating Our Value." The conference will focus on how members of the CEhp enterprise can lead, advocate, collaborate, innovate and show how CME/CE and professional development can improve healthcare provider competence, performance, patient outcomes and, ultimately, population health. ACEhp 42nd Annual Conference Thursday, January 26 - Sunday, January 29, 2017 San Francisco, CA Here are the learning tracks that will be offered: Accreditation/Regulation Providing the latest updates and strategies for compliance relative to accreditation, competencies, government agencies, certifying boards, etc., often presented by the organizations who write the rules, policies, standards, and regulations. Interprofessional Continuing Education Providing/promoting patient-centered educational interventions with collaborative practice and coordinated healthcare delivery at their core. Learning Science / Strategies Employing evidence-based approaches and/or strategies that effectively impact the adult learner in the health professions, assisting learners to implement and maintain change. Outcomes / Assessment Planning and designing educational interventions that attain measurable impact or outcomes. Performance / Quality Improvement Understanding the elements of successful performance improvement and/or quality improvement projects, and the evolving landscape of Quality Improvement Education (QIE). Professional Development Advancing knowledge, skills, and strategies for leadership, advocacy, innovation, value proposition creation, grant writing, program development, and collaborative practice. Systems Thinking Addressing challenges and gaps with interconnected or longitudinal approaches to analyze how a system’s constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems.
